| Oh LOOK! I UPDATED FINALLY!!! It's been like forever ago! What's a
better day than my birthday? I can't believe my teenage years are over.
Guess how my last day of being a teen went?! First thing in the morning
I went with my dad down to East LA to help run some errands and out of
nowhere a fleet of police cars pull up behind a donut place and run
outta their cars and dashed into the alleyway leaving all of their cars
unattended... Then not even a minute later a helicopter follows right
over our heads! Haha, what a way to wake up in the morning... After
that I had breakfast with my dad then came home. I sat down in front of
my computer for a few minutes then began my journey to school where I
just started my first week at Mt. SAC for Fall Semester of 2005! Geez,
I had to sit through a 3 hour lab followed by another 4 hour lab. After
my classes were over, I went to go visit my g/f Irene at her work, her
last day at Staples! So I spent about 2 hours walking around and then I
went out for dinner with her at Denny's. After dinner I came home and
here I am now updating my xanga.
Well, for the past year almost all I have been doing is spending time
with my girlfriend Irene, going to school, visiting MVHS and continuing
to coach the Varsity Badminton Team over there, spending time with The
Guys plotting a new film for Kidswithsticks, and trying to have as much
fun as I can before everyone leaves again.
My birthday is here and I can't believe that I am now 20 years old.
Every decade that has passed by is just hard to sink in. How would you
feel if 20 years passed by in a blink of an eye and you reflect back to
what has happened. I'm glad I don't have any regrets on any of my
decisions I made in my past. If I didn't make them, I wouldn't be where
I am today and be with those people whom care about me.
Now I can say I have seen and experienced a lot of things in 2 decades.
Many things have changed in everyones lives. Video games especially,
look just 15 or so years ago when Nintendo just came out and what it
has evolved to today. Several consoles plus new stuff coming out
practically every year. Computers of all things have changed
dramatically as everyone has expected. From what I've experienced with
computers, they do become a lot better for the time being but within a
month it can be a piece of scrap metal compared to new technology that
comes out. Also in 2 decades I have made great friends who have stuck
with my through thick and thin in all of my life's ups and downs.
Sorry about all this talk, but yea, I never thought about finally being 20 so I said my piece.
On to This Episode of Ghettoville El Monte...
Coaching the Varsity Badminton team at MVHS is a great privelege I
would think. I mean, I get to teach a group of young adults whom are
going through what I went through when I joined the badminton team at
MVHS. Now I am returning what I have learned in my past and am helping
a part of our future society by learning new strategies and techniques
not only in playing a sport, but qualities that will benefit them in
their futures.
These couple months have been pretty good. This year the class that's
two years older than I am graduated from College. Majority of everyone
walked for graduation, but a couple still needed a few classes before
being officially a graduate. So yea, darn college folk and their crazy
parties. Haha, Jason Lee, awesome guy when he's tipsy... j/k!
In middle of June Ewok left for New York to coach at this sports camp
for little spoiled jewish kids. Then graduation at MVHS came and I
bought a bouquet of Hong Kong Style roses for Lilia Delgadillo! Awww...
she loved them and she cried when I handed them to her. Then her mom
loved them too and she's kept them since. haha. Then on to 4th of July!
Every year seems less exciting because no one is into lighting
fireworks anymore, I guess that's only for younger kids. Then a few
days later dumb kids lit fireworks on the street behind my house and
two trees caught on fire. It was cool, but it freaked me out because it
was so close to my house and I didn't know until both trees were
entirely enflamed. That was when one of our neighbors informed us by
pounding on our front door shouting "There are trees on fire behind
your house!" in chinese through our front screen door. Then the end of
July I went down to San Diego with a couple guys and cooked a turkey
and a couple steaks in a pit down in the San Diego Beach by Kirks
apartment. The turkey was awesome... Very juicy...
When we got back, a few weeks later, we got the guys together and
worked on the new video. If you wanna check on how far everything is
going visit http://www.kidswithsticks.net and you'll have loads of laughs and tons of fun...
Ewok just got back last Friday and he invited 3 of his fellow camp
counselors with him down here. They're all from different countries.
Awesome guys though. They're here for a few weeks but Ewok also has to
be a good host and show them around, which is also not allowing him to
attend school the first week of the semester. I hope he knows what he
is doing...
Tyrone and Danny are back at USC starting their first semester next
week, and I think everyone else is starting their classes in a couple
weeks from today.
Now I am here with school starting and everyone is just waiting around until their class begins in September.
Irene and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary together and tomorrow is
going to be 14 months for us. Yeah, that's really quick when the last
time I put in an entry we were barely together for 4 months. Now it's
been 10 months down the line.

Well, I think that's it for now everyone. Expect another update a
little bit more sooner than this last one. (wow, I type all this up in
like half an hour...)
Come back next time on the next adventures of Ghettoville...
| HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!!!
and also Happy Birthday to Victoria Gonzalez!!!
Well, I am at it again! Another update after how long?! To start things
off, I guess since the last entry a couple things have happened.
First thing that came up was Karlo's B-day. Tyrone, Kirk, and myself
chipped in to get Karlo a gift certificate from Best Buy. Karlo had to
go out with his family for dinner, so The Guys and myself had to wait
for him to come home. When he came back home, he came over to my place
and chillaxed for a little bit. We gave him his birthday gift card.
After that, Danny came over and we all headed out for boba at our usual
hang out spot, Best Drink, besides my room! After we kicked back for a
bit, it was getting pretty late, so we all said our good-byes and happy
birthday to Karlo, then went home to bed!
Next thing that came up was the new college year for most Quarter
System students! Gosh, most Semester people started about a month and a
half to two months back~! It began either on Sept. 23rd or for those
UCLA ppl, Sept. 30th. Yeah, now since everyone's back at school, no
more hanging out with The GUys for sure now. Unless we plan another
hang out day together.
Then Jimmy's Birthday came up! We went to HOOTERS to celebrate! Yay, it
was fun. That cool "family restaurant". Too bad only about half the
people that were suppsed to go only made it there! Everyone showed up
on Asian Time, you know the usual... Jimmy, his Grandma, me, Tom,
Lance, Ewok, Tracey, Beverly, her lil bro RJ, Marsh, and JJ were all
there! We had buffalo wings, fries, and drinks all around. While we
were eating, someone said it was "Jimmy's Birthday" today, but he was
hesitant about that and got angry, but he knows he can't live without
making fun of himself as always and enjoy it at the same time! He had
to wear a foil hat in the shape of an Elephant, two balloons under his
shirt, and a balloon tied to his wrist that read "It's my Birthday!
Spank me!" So, they rounded up all of the birthday boys near the front
of the restaurant and made them dance on Stools! That was hilarious!
The entire evening was fun and almost nonstop laughing with the guys.
Especially everyone with their sudden outbursts of nonsense in front of
the waitresses. Hope you had a great time GrandPa Jimmy! You're still
one of the guys, even though you're one year closer to using a walking
cane.
Then the weekend came, October 1st and I went down to LA to help out my
girl and her parents with their family business! Every Quarter year
they have this thing where people can sell items along the sidwalk for
an entire weekend, but only if you get approved by the government, I
guess you could call it help, just sitting out on the curb helping to
sell stuff, but more like entertaining myself by messing around with
Irene's lil Bro, Kevin. He's one awesome kid to joke around with!
Especially to people that just walk by and don't buy anything from us!
He's the new Drum Captain at Alfred S. Madrid "Bulldogs" Middle School
and only a 7th grader! So don't mess with him or else you'll have to
answer to ME! Haha.
On monday, October 4th, I went out to Dinner with Senh, one of my old
buddies, to Bahookas, we used a $5 gift certificate there also! Then
after dinner, we left to go visit my best friend's lil sis, Peggy at
her new job! Cold Stones! Yummy =P Thanks for da excellent ice cream!
Tastes Great! Hehe, hope that this job is going good for ya! Take Care!
The following day on Tuesday, I tagged along with my girl to have
dinner with one of her closest friends, Linda who just came home to
visit from the Navy. I went to pick up Irene from home, gosh she looked
soo pretty! It is so true, the more I spend time with her, the more
beautiful she seems in my eyes. I could not keep my eyes off of
admiring MY Girlfriend. After I picked up Irene, we went to go get her
"neice" Linda and then headed to the restaurant. While we were there,
other friends of ours showed up. Van and Wallace that Inseperable
Couple. Those two are as dorkie as they come, but they're an awesome
couple. After dinner at Noodle Planet, we walked over to Lollicup and
got some Boba which Linda treated us for. Then after that, we headed
back home. I drove Linda home and then drove my girl home.
Then on Thursday, I waited for Marsh to go to work, then I snuck over
to her house to ask her mum if I could help plan a surprise birthday
party for Marsh. Mrs. OlaƱo was so nice, she said that she'll provide
everything and all I would have to do is just invite and bring all the
guests.
On Friday October 8th, I asked Ewok if he could borrow his dad's Truck
to help me with moving a big screen TV. My mom's friend wanted to buy a
Big Screen, but didn't have anything or know anyone who could transport
it back home. So my mom decided to tell me to ask David to see if he
could borrow his dad's truck. So, yeah, later that night we all went to
Costco. Me, Lance, Ewok, my mom and my mummie's friend. While my mom
and her friend were walkin around the place, me Lance and Ewok decided
to get some grub, so we ordered a large pizza from there! I was sorta
thirsty, so I bought a hot dog and Soda for like $1.50? and the Soda
had refills, so that was cool! A large Pizza, a hot dog, and a fountain
drink for about $12? I think it was worth it! Yummy... So, after we
ate, they chose what TV they wanted, and we asked for help to move it
onto David's Truck. Then once it was on the truck, David used ropes to
strap down the TV from moving around. Then off we went to my mummie's
friends house in El Monte. Then we helped move it into their living
room. The TV wasn't that heavy. I think they should've bought a bigger
one since they had a pretty big living room! Then my mom and her friend
went to go buy more pizza and fried chicken for us to eat. Then we ate
and ate and drank soda. It was about 9 or 10PM so we all had to leave.
Then on October 11th, my sweetie had a Dentist appointment. When she
came home, her mouf wuz numb. We chatted online for a bit, then after
about an hour of chatting, I felt kinda bad that I wasn't able to see
her and take care of her. Then, I could not stand not being able to
comfort her through all that physical pain. So, I decided to stop by
her house to see if she is alright. Off I went, to see her and hold her
in my arms, hugging her with all of my care.
Then October 15th came and I freaked out and called everyone to see
where they were at and whether or not if they were going to Marsh's
Surprise birthday party! So, everyone was occupied at the time when
Marsh was supposed to come home, but I managed to get a few guys
rounded up for the beginning of the party. When Marsh came home, she
had no idea what was going on. She was having an entirely bad day
because everyone was leaving her by herself and she thought everyone
was purposely avoiding her. Instead, everyone was trying to cover up
that there was a surprise party waiting for her and they needed more
time to set up and wait for more friends to show up at the party. Then
Irene came and I had to go out and meet her up, she helped me wrap the
present I got for Marsh. After Irene came, we started to eat! After
about an hour, more people started to show up. While everyone was
eating, more and more people came to wish Marsh a Happy Birthday!
Throughout the party, everyone had fun just sitting back and enjoying
the time spent together, then later someone decided to bring their
camera out so we all took some "posed" pictures! Hahaha, Marsh should
know what I'm talkin' about. A few hours later, Marsh decided to open
her presents that she got that night. She looked through them all, she
liked every single one of them, but from her reaction, I think she
liked the birthday card I got her the best out of everyone's gift, even
my own. That birthday card I got it signed by MVHS Teachers that she
loved, and also by some other special people who she missed seeing back
at MVHS! So, yeah, I didn't expect her to like the card THAT much. She
read the signatures, and after she read it, she ran over to me and gave
me a BIG hug! Awwww, hehe, thanks Marshie for da *Hug!* The night came
to an end and we finished all the food, so it was time to Git Outta
Dere! Hahaha... Hope you Liked Da Surprise B-day Party!!!
Next B-day on the Agenda was Sexy Chai Tea's Surprise Birthday Party at
Joe's Crab Shack on October 24th! Yeah, He's 20! Gosh, not a teenager
anymore! You're getting old! Haha, sorry man for not being able to get
you a birthday present! I'll make it up to you later =P. haha. So yeah,
The Guys showed up and a couple of The Girls were there, since they
were the ones who planned it for him. It was about 15+ people? I got
there the latest of everyone. They were all sitting down when me,
myself and David showed up. The table was not big enough so they got an
extra chair and a few people had to squeeze their cheeks and make room.
We fit in snuggly and they were so kind as to wait for us so we call
could order at the same time. When we finished ordering food, Jeannie
walked away for a few minutes to talk to one of the waiters and told
them that it was Chai's Birthday today. I think it was pretty cool that
they had a Ballonist there that only made hats for the customers and
only wanted tip. So, that guy made a ballon hat for Chai and Xing
wanted a balloon hat too, but her's was all pink and stuff so, Chai got
jealous... j/k! Haha. Xing wanted a Princess Hat, so the ballonist
wrapped 3 shades of pink and one white all together, then four strands
of balloons that stuck out. It looked okay, but not enough effort.
Haha, the waiters walked over with a SPONGE BOB SQUARE PANTS Costume
and asked who's birthday it was, so they MADE him wear it. While we
began to sing Happy Birthday, they made him walk around the restaurant.
I was kinda puzzled, we were singing to him and they made walk away
from us, it was funny. So, dinner came to an end early, since the
following day was school for everyone. They all had to head back to
their apartments, dorms, and homes. so Off we all went!
So, the latest news, I spent Friday October 29th with my girlfriend and
her youngest brother at the mall. It was supposed to be a planned
surprise, but nothing seemed to have gone right the entire evening. Van
and I were planning that I'd take Irene out alone, for a day at the
Santa Anita Mall and Van would surprise Irene when we were inside
the movie theater. So, first thing that happened wrong was that I told
Irene's mummie that Van was planning a surprised for Irene and she was
gonna surprise Irene at the mall, but then when Irene talked to her
mummie, mummie spoiled the surprise, so as usual, when one of the
children get home, they would call their mummie, so Irene called her
mum, and Blah! Her mummie just told Irene to have fun going to the Mall
with VAN! Grrrrrrrr!!!! O well, that sucked. Then the next thing that
went wrong was that her mummie told her to bring her lil, Kevin, bro
with us. I didn't mind, but he was in on the plan too, he was supposed
to stay home and enjoy the time to himself without any of his siblings
to bug him. Then we headed off to run a quick errand, then off we went
to the Santa Anita Mall. We headed straight down there, and throughout
the trip to the mall, I called Van a few times and she called me back
trying to see how everything is going with the surprise planning. Once
we got to the mall, we entered through Macy's. Irene, her baby bro, and
myself just walked around the interior area of the entire mall, then
Irene and I ditched Kevin. He went to go check out video games, Irene
and I just walked off to go see what else there is to look at. We began
our journey through the new mall by checking out the cologne! Gosh, I
bet we sniffed at least 8 different colognes, my nose couldn't sniff
anymore after that. Then Irene needed Tennis Shoes, so I followed her
to one of the stores and watched her as she tried on different high
heels and tennis shoes. So, I sat and checked her out as she was trying
on new shoes. So after about an hour of checking out shoes, she bought
a pair of tennis shoes and then we headed out to look for Kevin. Kevin
was inside the same store he went into earlier, so yeah, we found him
and off we went to go find dinner! We walked around and we finally
decided on eating at Johnny Rocket's. It was pretty good, but kinda
expensive. I got the double Rocket Burger, Irene got the chicken
sandwich, and Kevin got the Chili Cheese Fries. While we were eating, I
told Kevin to go check the Movie Times and to "Call Van" in a whisper
to make sure Irene did not hear. So, he walked to the AMC Theater and
Irene thought I told Kevin to "Take Your Time" hehe. She's cuckoo! Then
after Irene and I finished eating, Kevin walked back and we walked up
to the theater and we debated on which movie to watch. We ended up
watching "Shark Tale". A pretty good Kid's Movie. We walked to our
seats and I told Irene I had to go to the bathroom for like the 5th
time tonight, but I only went to call Van. Van, Wallace, and Carol were
stuck in traffic so they were unable to make it to the movie. Then I
walked back to the theater and sat down next to Irene and watched the
movie. Shark Tale, not a bad movie. Then after the movie was over with,
I checked my phone to see what time it was, and when I pulled it out, I
saw Van's Name blinking in the Caller ID. So I answered it and told
Irene it was one of my friends who wanted to hang out that night. Then
off we went walking back to the car. While we walked back, I told Irene
I had to go to the bathroom again and Irene said that she'll just wait
for me in front of one of the stores, so I just waited till she and her
lil bro disappeared, then I went to look for Van in the food court.
Then they wanted to surprise her, but I tried to, and she was a little
too stubborn and a little angry apparently. So, I just waited with Van,
Wallace, and Carol to buy something for her which was Ice Cream. So,
after they bought it, I hurried over to Irene and walked with her a
quarter way back through the mall. Then all of a sudden, Van, Wallace
and Carol came running up behind her and said "Surprise!" as a group!
Then yeah, my sweetie cheered up a little. The icecream was leaking so
we looked for a place to sit down and chit chat for a bit. It was
getting late, so we neded up going to Van's House which was a few
minutes away. We got there and I tried my best to cheer Irene up. Then
as Irene and I walked in, Van, Carol and Wallace had a banana nut cream
pie with the "19" candles lit. They told Irene to wait up until Wallace
could program their keyboard to play "Happy Birthday" as she entered
the house. After that, Irene blew out the candles and we sat there
eating the pie and playing the board game "Who wants to be a
Millionaire?" So an hour passed by and it was about 11:10PM so we had
to leave and get home~! So, we said our Goodbyes and went home. Irene
drove me back to her place so I could pick up my car. I walked my
beautiful girlfriend in front of her house and gave her a kiss
goodnight...
Then Sunday came "Happy Halloween!" and I did not do much in the
morning. I went to the Doctors office for a checkup at around 10. Then
on the way back home I decided to call my sweetie. I ended up going to
her house and hung out there for a few hours then her parents called
and asked Irene to choose a place for dinner. Irene told them that she
wanted to eat on a restuarant on Huntington Drive. So we waited for
everyone to show up. It was about 4:30pm and we all headed out for
dinner! Irene, her familia, myself, and Irene's Auntie and Uncle were
all together and we headed for Claim Jumper's. A great place with great
food along with a great portion! So, we sat there, waited for our
waitress and ordered food and drinks. So, we sat there, talked, messed
around, then the food showed up! Yum! =P We only ordered One Appetizer
Combo and Two Ore Carts that pretty much fed everyone. we ate, had some
more chats, then the bill came and Irene's Mummie treated. She paid the
bill and we left and went back to Irene's house. I stayed but her
auntie and uncle left. So, I hung out in Irene's room and she looked
through all of my MP3's on my laptop. Which was a little under 3000
songs. We listened to the wide variety I had. Then it was about 9:20PM
and I decided to go home because I was sooo tired and sleepie. I gave
my hugs and kisses and told everyone Good Night.
So here I am now, It's my Sweetie's Birthday and I hope she likes my
Surprise I have for her... Shhh, don't tell her, I'm gonna try to full
her room up with Balloons and stuff, soo SHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday To You,
Happy Birthday to You!
Happy Birthday Dear Sweetie,
Happy Birthday To YOU!!!

| WOW GUYS!!! ANOTHER UPDATE! Whew, took me a while to think of what to write this time...
What's up everyone?! Yeah, still the same'o pace for me. I just keep
writing at the strangest times don't I? I wonder how most of you react
to my slowness on this thingamabobber Xanga. Summer's just ended for
most of us college folk. Yeah, since my last xanga entry, I had spent a
lotta time with old friends and spent more time with my girl!
On the first weekend of August, my best friend Alan Wong just called me
up with a last minute notice that his family was having a small family
bbq and his mom wanted him to invite a few friends over. So of course,
I was his #1 choice as usual... hehe, lol. And he also invited his old
family friend, Irene, who is of course my sweetie and her family! Alan
and Irene's parents have known each other since the beginning of time
practically and their families have not seen each other in over 5
years! So, ya, what a weird triangle to get myself caught up in. That
day was pretty cool, I had 2 bbq's to attend that day and then I spent
the night at Alan's place. His mom insisted that I stayed over for the
night! She's one awesome mom! The last time I stayed over at their
place was like 4 years ago? Yeah, during the bbq, both of their
families caught up and like usual asian families tried to compare
children. To see which kid was a better trained Pokemon or something.
That was hilarious, they wanted to see which of their kids had more
experience, more intelligence points, and what kind of battle trophies
each child had won in school competitions! Their parents are a crazy
bunch.
The first two weeks of August was when my babe finally could have a
break from school and summer school. Within those two weeks, I got to
meet most of her old high school buddies. They're pretty cool to be
around, a bit weird, but isn't everyone? We all have friends that are
like them. Let's see, each day I spent time with Irene, I got to meet
more of her friends! One day, I met Miguel, he's a pretty cool guy. I
few days later, I met Donny and Peter, they're some fun lovin' guys
that I got to play basketball with after only meeting them for the
first time. Then the following day after that, it was a friday night, I
met most of the group that Irene hung out with at El Monte High School.
Thanks Marshie for that Surprise Birthday Beach Party on Saturday, Aug.
14, 2004! That was something I'll never forget! That was my first
surprise birthday party and it was unexpected. Irene took me out for
brunch, then we had to help pick up stuff for her parents, then my
sweetie told me that she planned to go to the beach with me alone.
Since we didn't have any clothes or supplies prepared ahead of time,
she said to go home and pick some stuff up from her place. Once we got
to her place, she said that she was gonna ask her lil bro and Van to
come along with us to the beach. After that, they got everything and we
went to my place so I can get my things. Once I walked into the door, I
saw The Guys and Marshie in my living room with a bunch of Beach stuff
ready to go along with us. Marshie came up to me and said "Surprise!" I
was confused almost the entire day because the people that showed up
were my friends that never met each other before. It took me a while to
actually figure out how everything was planned after Marshie and Irene
told me how they got everyone together. Thanks girls, that day meant a
lot! We got to Huntington Beach and we just set up all the blankets and
whatever. Then JJ and Jimmy stripped me down to my shorts and I ran
into the water willingly. Then we just hung out going in and outta the
water. Also spent some time with my girl in da water also! Hehe,
neither of us knew how to swim, but we kept on drifting out further and
further into the Pacific Ocean! We got each other's back when the waves
got a little too rough. After we spent a couple hours at the beach, we
all got changed and got ready for Dinner. We went to Marie Calendar's
in Puente first, but it took too long for them to get a table ready for
us, so we ended up going to Chili's for dinner which was in the same
plaza, but a block or two further away. After dinner my Bro Lance paid
for everything, I'm so grateful for having a brother like that. Thanks
dude, I gotta find out a way to repay you.
First day of Classes started on August 16, 2004! I have the exact same
classes as Marshie! Yay! It is much more different than attending Cal
Poly Pomona. For school, I've been spending a lotta time with my
friends Marshie and David! I spend a lotta time with marshie because we
practically live together since we live 3 houses away from each other
and we have to see one another every school day for the rest of the
semester until Winter break! I see Marshie almost 24'7 now, we're like
inserperable! HAha, she is like a little sister I never had!
(more like never wanted... haha, j/k marshie. You know we koo like dat!)
August 27th, I tagged along with my sweetie to go bowling with her old
EMHS Buddies @ the new Action Lanes! I was bowling my average and
everyone was amazed at my score (Since I did go bowling almost every
other weekend last winter, I had a pretty high average)). I did not
want to get everyone mad at me for bowling too high of a score, so I
let one of my old friends bowl for me instead, and I bowled for my babe
to even out everyone's scores. It was fun though, everyone made their
funny jokes, did their typical things they were known for, and had a
pretty good time together.
On August 28 @ 5AM Ewok, his dad, Jimmy, myself, and one of ewok's
friends from the camp he worked at over the summer, left for Mexico! It
was one crazy weekend! We got to TJ by 7or 8AM and walked around till
about 2PM shopping and haggling those Mexicanos. That was fun! Whole we
were down in Mexico, we went through some town's I've never heard of.
Tecate and Ensenada, and a few other places I never knew existed. It
was a fun trip going down there and trying all of these new things that
I probably could've experienced here in Ghettoville El Monte which is
like what one of my friend's parents said, "Little TJ" in our own back
yard. Ohhh, while I was down there, we camped out at the beach and just
lit some fireworks, you know the "GOOD STUFF", m-80's and whatnot they
have down there. That was late in the evening. After that, we went to
sleep inside David's Camping Tents. Once we woke up, we all washed up
and looked around for horses! They were just about 2 blocks from us.
So, David, Gabor (David's friend), and I went horseback riding down in
Mexico along the beach in the morning! That was awesome! After the
horseback riding for about an hour, we got all of our belongings and
started heading back home. On our way back, we stopped by a buffet for
breakfast. It was pretty good, a Mexican style Buffet. Ha, I had like 4
or 5 ommlettes and everyone else had like 2. Since it was a buffet, why
let all that food go to waste on other people? I ate and ate and ate
and ate like I always do! So, after we ate, we began our long journey
back to the United States of America. That was such a long ride back,
since sooo many people wanted to escape outta dat country by car! We
took about 5-6 hours in total to get back home! On our way back, my
brother gave me a call. He said that him, kirk, and tom were in San
Diego at Kirk's Apartment! So, we were about an hour away, so we
decided to stop by his place. So, we hung out there for about an hour
or so, and then we continued our last 100 miles back home. When we got
back, it was about 8pm? All I knew that the sun was down and I was
tired! So, I got home, cleaned up, and went to bed.
For these passed few weeks, nothing much has been happening with The
Guys. Just trying to hang out once in a while, rather than our daily
routine over the summer. School's just about to begin for the people on
the Quarter System! They start some time near the last two weeks of
September. I'm about 1/3rd of the way down with this Semester at Mt.
SAC!
So, now I really gotta get in to gear for school. Some things I'm
laggin' it on, but it's cool. I think I can get most of it under
control for now. If you got any questions/comments or just want to say
whats up, gimme a jingle on my cell! If you don't got it, IM me on
aznta11boi85 or email me at aznta11boi85@yahoo.com Whichever one you
feel comfortable communicating with me.
Some other things I've been doing with my free time on the side lately
is spending more time with my girl and her familia. Just doing whatever
I can to help them out if they need the extra hand. Hey, this weekend's
going to be 3 MONTHS since we've made it "official" between us! I'm so
happy and cheerful nowadays.
Well, yeah, kinda short entry huh? Hope you guys liked it. Now I can
start a new one, but since the guys are all back at school... there
won't be much for me to write until next summer most likely. Who knows,
I might find something new and interesting this year to talk about! So,
stay tuned for the next Season's Episode of "Spencer's Bizarre
Experiences in Ghettoville..."
| Man, has it been that long? Shoot, over 2 months already. Sorry about taking this long. I have been extremely busy with all of these new and exciting experiences. So Many Friends, So Little Time! Recently, when I actually did have time to write in here, I became lazy and went to bed or took a nap hoping that I would have something else better to do. Thanks to my babe, she's been encouraging me to write in here and update this stuff. Yesh, *~MY BABE~*. You will hear more about my sweetie down somewhere in this entry.
This is what I had written down earlier like near the beginning of summer to start off this entry, but I didn't like it, so I wrote the earlier paragraph.
Hey guys, it's time for another update. I am not sure if this one is going to be as long as the previous entries, but I think it will still come close! Yeah, to begin another one of THE GUYS ADVENTURES, let's see where we left off. Near the end of May, most of the Semester system colleges got out of school and all the Ghetto folk headed back home to Ghettoville El Monte for summer break. David "Ewok" Payan and Tyrone got out of school and hung out in El Monte for the last few weeks while all the high schools and colleges on quarter systems were finishing up for the year.
After about a week or two into summer, Ewok had to leave outta state for a job in New York. He was chosen to coach and train little kids between the ages of 10-12 how to play tennis! Ewok said that these children's parents paid about $8K for the 2 months of Tennis Camp. That is crazy. Darn those white people and their insane ways. David is pretty lucky though, he get's a fully covered trip to New York, he gets to eat buffet's every day and night including midnight snacks I think.
Throughout the month of June, there had been drama between The Guys, I do not think if anyone knows or anyone cares, but it has broke apart some of the guys if not, it had brought our bond of guys closer together. No one is excluded, just taking a little break.
Once Spring Quarter ended for me at Cal Poly Pomona in the beginning of June, The Guys were mostly back in El Monte to chillax for the rest of the summer. The "USUALS" came home such as Kirk, Tyrone, and Danny. Once they settled in, we began to figure out what we wanted to plan on doing for the rest of the summer.
June 27th me and some of my old Madrid homies met up for dinner! It was me, Irene Nham =P, Alan Wong, Sophia Chang, Jasmine Yung, Sam Tu, and Vincent Shen that only showed up for the evening. Everyone else we invited ditched us. They all met up at my pad first so we could all decide on what we should do for dinner.
Had lunch on July 4th with my old Madrid homies and my favorite Madrid Teacher Ms. Rosa Jimenez.
Just wanted to also add in a little bit about me and my girl. Irene is one very special person in my life. We grew up together and have known each other for 12 years so far, hopefully more to come. we practically saw each other grow up. Some time when we were in 6th grade at Twin Lakes elementary, I think I finally noticed so many things about her that attracted me towards her. This was only in 6th grade, but those feelings carried on throughout Junior high (when we did find out we had feelings toward each other), and a year or two in High School. Those feelings were suppressed for a few years because both of us had attempted to find those one's who we were "meant to be with". We had both experienced our separate relationships throughout High School, and both of us had gone through some rough times. Now, we had recently gotten back in touch with one another and old feelings had surfaced once again between us. Hoping that maybe someone that we had grown up with may be that Special Person. Only time will tell what is to come in the future.
If you guys wanna look at all the pictures I have taken with my camera phone so far, just take a look here. This almost everything I have done and experience with family and friends since February 2004.
The next couple of things happened in some order, you have to figure it out on your own.
Pokeman 2 finished, I was happy to be a part of that production working behind the scenes and having my arm in it. Visit http://www.kidswithsticks.net for videos and pictures from the set. It was very exciting - These kids know what they are doing!
These are the movies I saw over the summer in no particular order: Dragonball from the 1990's - I, Robot - Fahrenheit 9/11 - Spiderman 2 - Dodgeball - Bourne Identity - Bourne Supremacy - and many more!
Over July 4th, I went to volunteer at the fireworks booth. For those of you who do not know, Mt. View high school marching band uses a fireworks booth every year as a fundraiser. They needed someone to help sell and stand watch overnight to make sure nothing explodes. So there I was. One night Kirk, Tyrone, and Brian were pretty crazy as they decided to run from my house to the fireworks booth. It was about a 3 mile distance and it was about 10 o' clock in the evening. Why did they do it? For exercise! They did the distance in about 20 minutes, running from Deana to Maxon to Ramona, to Santa Anita past the Freeway to the booth....
I did some random running myself a few nights. I don't know how much I ran, but it was good exercise. My power supply also went wacko. One day, my computer just wouldn't turn on. Karlo came over and replaced my power supply with another power supply from one of my older computers. Too bad the wattage was too low because my components are too futuristic and require too much power. So my computer broke down again. I decided to go to Fry's with Tyrone and get a 350Watt power supply and that sure did the job. My computer is working fine again after burning out 2 power supplies.
My fingers are getting tired right about now so I'm going to give you all the short condensed version of the rest of my cool happenings this summer. Are you ready? Here we go!
Reel Big Fish, Computer Fair, Pokemon Cards, Four Square, UFO Sightings, Warcraft III, Jimmy in Idaho, and much more. Ask me if you want to know more about any of these.
Best of luck to Kirk at his annual training in Colorado and Virginia. Best of luck to Jimmy and myself as we get ready to start school again at Mt. Sac. Best of luck to Tyrone as he gets ready to resume school at USC for his last year (almost).
